The Victorian Showmen’s Guild has been working closely with the NHVR to establish a National Notice for Amusement Vehicles travelling throughout Australia.
We have listened to our Members and recognised an issue with the current permit process and the need to streamline the process of transporting amusement devices to Agricultural Show across Australia.
Through the support of the Hon. Bill Shorten MP and the Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon Michael McCormack, and the CEO and team at the NHVR it looks like this will be made possible.
A National Notice for Amusement Vehicles will mean that Members will no longer have to apply for permits and make amendments to these permits to travel from Show to Show, town to town, and state to state or territory.
The National Notice will apply to all states and territories except for Northern Territory and Western Australia.
